What is the next number in the sequence below? Can you describe the pattern?

                                            1    4    9    16    25    36

Answer: The next number in the pattern is 49. If continued, the pattern would be: 1 , 4 , 9 , 16 , 25 , 36 , 49 , 64 , 81, 100, etc. Each number is a perfect square. In other words, the pattern is 1 x 1 , 2 x 2 , 3 x 3 , 4 x 4 , 5 x 5 , 6 x 6 , and the missing number is 7 x 7 (49).

A certain whole number is evenly divisible by 3. It is also divisible by 5 and 4. What is the smallest number that fits these conditions? Can you find a number larger than 100 that is divisible by 3, 4, and 5?
